The goal is to take a single song and have a well-written, expertly-produced, recorded, mixed, and fully-polished song by the end. We will then upload that song to Spotify and get the song officially registered with a Performing Rights Organization so they can understand the process of collecting royalties from their music.

Once you finish, we go through the same process with your next song to learn more in-depth techniques, or you can begin collaborating with our growing network of talented musicians and producers as we write for album projects or TV/Film/Commercial/Video Game placements.

What Will They Need?

  • Access to a Mac or PC.
  • Studio Gear (Microphone, Audio Interface, Mixing Headphones, and miscellaneous pieces. Full gear list will be provided before starting)

I will provide a full gear list prior to starting the course and we can incorporate the gear the student already has into their home studio setup.

We will be using a program called Logic Pro X or Cubase to create music. We will teach the students how to use this program, but it is very easy to use and similar to Garage Band.

How Do I Get Started?

Once you’ve filled out the application, we can coordinate with their schedule and coordinate with their current studio gear to provide a personalized gear list of what they might need in order to make the kind of music they want to make.

Chris worked at Hans Zimmer’s esteemed Bleeding Fingers Music, partnering with TV networks such as FOX, History, STARZ, Discovery Channel, the BBC, and NatGeo. His most notable work and involvement has been seen on such projects as Discovery Channel’s “Alaskan Bush People”, BBC’s “Blue Planet II”, National Geographic’s “Origins”, and History Channel’s “Mountain Men”.
